Zacarias Pinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Anguilan's Tobias Txaran got control of the ball when Mauricio Calixto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Joseph in the 16th minute of play. Nicolas Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tobias Txaran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Joseph's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Zacarias Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Calixto got free with Tobias Txaran in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yoda Football's Nicolas Joseph was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Mauricio Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yoda Football's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Calixto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anguilan's zone, Mauricio Calixto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Txaran came out of the goal and Mauricio Calixto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Joseph in the 40th minute of the match. Mauricio Calixto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Tobias Txaran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Joseph in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Txaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Mauricio Calixto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Txaran. Anguilan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Calixto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Joseph made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Calixto in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Txaran saved Anguilan from getting behind. Tobias Txaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Yoda Football's Nicolas Joseph sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Txaran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Calixto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Txaran was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Fabio Bergomi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Remigio Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yoda Football had played much better football throughout.
