Juan Carlos Olave tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Mazuste got free with Fabian Marz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, LIONS's Fabian Marz got control of the ball when Bonifacio Mazuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tobias Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. JERE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Cucao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Marz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Carlos Olave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Vettel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JERE F.C. had played much better football throughout.
