Mercurio Mercurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Cordearo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Mercurio Mercurio. But to his dismay, Mercurio Mercurio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aristides Egoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Cordearo. ESTUDIANTES FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute Lun Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, ESTUDIANTES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Cordearo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lun Luna in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jorge Cordearo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ESTUDIANTES FC! Howling Dawn U18 were furious when Guaberto Gilesindo was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Guaberto Gilesindo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Baldomiro Jerrald replaced Lun Luna.
