The wind increased when Zbigniew Gamza made the kick off in the second half. Serafin Txeru took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justo Stephen. Justo Stephen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Justo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Gamza in the 54th minute of the match. Guaymallén FC were furious when Clemente Claude was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in Guaymallén FC's zone, Baldomero Mercurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Stephen came out of the goal and Baldomero Mercurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulpiano Espino hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Rivotril F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Vitin. Guaymallén FC's Javier Sanson got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Guaymallén FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Rivotril F.C. to win.
