Astor Barbosa started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Guaymallén FC booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Lun Luna in the 14thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Justo Stephen had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Justo Stephen came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna. But to his dismay, Lun Luna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Lun Luna notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Guaymallén FC's Justo Stephen. Justo Stephen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Barbosa in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Lun Luna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Howling Dawn U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Lun Luna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howling Dawn U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lun Luna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lun Luna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Justo Stephen made a huge save. A collision led to Guaymallén FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Flavio Llope hit a great ball. Justo Stephen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lun Luna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. After 45 minutes, Teofilo Oriol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Howling Dawn U18 and the Guaymallén FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teofilo Oriol kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dawid Adamski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lun Luna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justo Stephen having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lun Luna in the 53rd minute of play forced Guaymallén FC's goalkeeper Justo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Gotzon's late challenge caught a Guaymallén FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Gotzon helped the player get up and apologised. Segundo Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Justo Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lun Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Astor Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Barbosa couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Lun Luna put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Justo Stephen. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Baldomiro Jerrald replaced Lun Luna. Justo Stephen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Jerrald went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Baldomiro Jerrald scored 7-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Stephen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Miguel Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Guaymallén FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Transito to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Clemente Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Mars Marte made a precise shot to the right of Justo Stephen. Guaymallén FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 93 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Jerrald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justo Stephen. Guaymallén FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomiro Jerrald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guaymallén FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Howling Dawn U18.
