Fausto Txaran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Quinteros in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Txaran saved The Falkland Islands from getting behind. Fausto Txaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Astigar came free, but Sid Ahmed Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Jose Quinteros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fausto Txaran. Jose Quinteros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ's Javier Milei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Txaran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremias Herensuge hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Herminio Lucero was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 45th minute Jose Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Txaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Falkland Islands getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Felipe Sanduru hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fausto Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Matia in the 70th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, The Falkland Islands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Alejandro Furman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Falkland Islands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ the free kick. With an all-out effort, The Falkland Islands's Sid Ahmed Xavier threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacinto Astigar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ had played much better football throughout.
