Astor Barbosa started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Aristides Egoitz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lun Luna could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Martin Jusepe however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Rivotril F.C. booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Gamza came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Txeru in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lun Luna hit a great ball. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Gamza in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Mercurio Mercurio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lun Luna came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lun Luna couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Gamza in the 33rd minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Melquiades Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Oriol to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Guillermo Bernat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Shantala skillfully saved the ball. Martin Jusepe was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Astor Barbosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Astor Barbosa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Zbigniew Gamza made the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Gilesindo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Enzo Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Fertus in the 59th minute of play. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Howling Dawn U18 from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes Rivotril F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Bernat. After a defensive mix-up in Rivotril F.C.'s zone, Lun Luna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Jusepe came out of the goal and Lun Luna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rivotril F.C.'s Martin Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lun Luna in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lun Luna in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Jusepe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Lun Luna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howling Dawn U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Lun Luna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Jusepe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Baldomiro Jerrald replaced Lun Luna. In the 82ndth minute of the game Baldomiro Jerrald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivotril F.C.'s Martin Jusepe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Florentino Fertus fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivotril F.C.'s protests and gave Florentino Fertus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Florentino Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Baldomiro Jerrald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Jusepe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nathanaël Goubert hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Astor Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howling Dawn U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
