Dawid Adamski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Cordearo having to interfere. Jorge Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 于迅阳 in the 17th minute of play. ESTUDIANTES FC's Jorge Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Sadurni in the 21st minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Vasco was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, 于迅阳 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Guaymallén FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Javier Sanson hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Clemente Claude mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaymallén FC and the ESTUDIANTES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Guaymallén FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Claude. In the 67th match minute, ESTUDIANTES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Lucero to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes ESTUDIANTES FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Perutxo. If Miguel Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES FC's zone, Javier Sanson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Cordearo came out of the goal and Javier Sanson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dawid Adamski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jorge Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Guaymallén FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Guaymallén FC may have spent more time on the ball, but ESTUDIANTES FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
