Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Astigar in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Timo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Timo stood somewhat misplaced when Jacinto Astigar came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. Jacinto Astigar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Felipe Sanduru's late challenge caught a Vecchia Signora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Sanduru helped the player get up and apologised. Felipe Sanduru hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 19th match minute, Vecchia Signora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Astigar had several of the Vecchia Signora's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Enrique Timo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fernando Matia scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Txaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacinto Astigar had several of the Vecchia Signora's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Enrique Timo as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jacinto Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Falkland Islands's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Astigar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Timo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fernando Llanos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Evaristo Edorta lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vecchia Signora! Herminio Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71stth minute of the game Jacinto Astigar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vecchia Signora's Enrique Timo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Cirilo Nuno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Jacinto Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Jacinto Astigar made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Timo. Vecchia Signora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The supporters of Vecchia Signora booed when The Falkland Islands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vecchia Signora's Enrique Timo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Astigar in the 89th minute of play. Enrique Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When The Falkland Islands's Jacinto Astigar in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vecchia Signora's goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Falkland Islands walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
