Enzo Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Viator in the 9th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lun Luna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramiro Mundo. That made the score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Pasqual in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Oriol to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Lluciano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Shantala. Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Pasqual came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Enzo Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Viator came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, one of Querandí:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Querandí. Ramiro Mundo had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Astor Barbosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Astor Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Mundo. Querandí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Querandí's Paolo Su in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 70 minutes, Lun Luna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howling Dawn U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lun Luna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Howling Dawn U18's Baldomiro Jerrald was substituted for Lun Luna. In the 78th minute Laureano Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tobias Sol hit a great ball. The supporters of Querandí booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Jerrald in the 87th minute of play forced Querandí's goalkeeper Ramiro Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Jerrald scored 3-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Mundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Viator. Querandí were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
