After 30 played minutes, La M FC's Zeledon Bazil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anastasio Piarres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La M FC reached it. 32 minutes into the game, Faustino Garaile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manantial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La M FC the free kick. In the 35th minute, Santiago Omero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anastasio Piarres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Anastasio Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Omero in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Omero was the one to do the kick off. Justino Lain hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Miguel Laffitte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Haitz skillfully saved the ball. Emiliano Berenguer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Haitz having to make a save. In the 70th minute, Nemesio Roano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Manantial's zone, Celestino Frantzes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Piarres came out of the goal and Celestino Frantzes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Santiago Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Jonas Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Manantial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Manantial's Anastasio Piarres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Manantial from getting a goal against them. When the match was over La M FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manantial throughout the match.
