Vinicio Teofilio started the match with the kick off. When Eriberto Hori fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chovet's protests and gave Eriberto Hori a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chovet getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Eriberto Hori hit a great ball. Viktor Földes was a little too slow when Darryl Buckner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Chovet's Ladislao Eder got a free kick in the 6th minute. Domingos Lauren kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Leopoldo Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Darryl Buckner sped through Chovet's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viktor Földes. Viktor Földes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Florencio Carlomagno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Földes having to make a save. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Chovet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonin Leroyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Viktor Földes made a huge save. Darryl Buckner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Viktor Földes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chovet's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Darryl Buckner took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Viktor Földes to make any attempt to save it. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Darryl Buckner put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Viktor Földes. A well placed Darryl Buckner short distance shot in the 48th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Chovet's zone, Mariano Silbestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Földes came out of the goal and Mariano Silbestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Darryl Buckner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. In the 60th minute, Mariano Silbestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Földes came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Viktor Földes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Darryl Buckner made a precise shot to the right of Viktor Földes. Chovet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Buckner in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Földes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viktor Földes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Buckner in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Chovet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Arce to maneuver through the defense. When Eriberto Hori came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Chovet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Hori couldn't finish the play. In the 78thth minute of the game Darryl Buckner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chovet's Viktor Földes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Clodoveo Tonio in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Florencio Carlomagno. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chovet's goalie prevented a goal. Eriberto Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Földes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Silbestre's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Leroyer in the 92nd minute of play forced Chovet's goalkeeper Viktor Földes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Rosa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Viktor Földes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep Colonia Avellaneda.
