Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Wei Li. In the 12thth minute of the game Natalio Silviano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Edelmiro Bertin managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Darryl Buckner in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Soldados del Señor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Rosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa to fire away a dangerous shot which Edelmiro Bertin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Soldados del Señor's zone, Darryl Buckner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Bertin came out of the goal and Darryl Buckner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edelmiro Bertin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Mariano Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Bertin having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, C.A. Soldados del Señor's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Edelmiro Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Soldados del Señor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leopoldo Rosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players had a chance to rest. Florencio Carlomagno kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Leonardo Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darryl Buckner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Soldados del Señor's goalkeeper Edelmiro Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, C.A. Soldados del Señor's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Leroyer came free, but Edelmiro Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Rosa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Edelmiro Bertin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep Colonia Avellaneda. In the 79th minute, Darryl Buckner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natalio Silviano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of C.A. Soldados del Señor booed when Dep Colonia Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonin Leroyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Antonin Leroyer got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to C.A. C.A. Soldados del Señor's supporters rose to their feet, but Fellipe Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dep Colonia Avellaneda had won after a very even match.
