Florentino Gonzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dante Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Marcelo Salas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Florentino Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Piquillín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Orlan to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Orlan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jonas Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. In the 44th minute, Lucio Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dante Cuartio to strike the kick off in the second half. Piquillín FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Dante Cuartio scored to the left of an out of position Florentino Gonzo, making the score, 0-3. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Cuartio couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute Antonio Mancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
