After having played for 9 minutes, Leonardo Fagildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Soldados del Señor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Fagildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Manantial's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Severo came free, but Anastasio Piarres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Natalio Silviano made a precise shot to the right of Anastasio Piarres. Manantial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 17 minutes, Fellipe Severo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Anastasio Piarres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manantial's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fellipe Severo was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Soldados del Señor's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Natalio Silviano advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-8 in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fellipe Severo to make the kick off. Carlos Izquierdoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Anastasio Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, C.A. Soldados del Señor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Iago charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Iago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. Soldados del Señor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Edelmiro Bertin had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Miguel Laffitte's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Manantial's Miguel Laffitte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Bertin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. 93 minutes into the match, Manantial's goalkeeper Anastasio Piarres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe Severo. C.A. Soldados del Señor played a much better game than Manantial and deserved their victory. The Manantial players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
