Gogo Frantzes started the match with the kick off. ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s Santo Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Mateo in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Zeledon Mateo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legendarios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ◀ Red Rooster ▶ the free kick. In the 12th minute, Zeledon Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zeledon Mateo 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. With an all-out effort, Legendarios's Santo Rosalio threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeledon Mateo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th match minute, ◀ Red Rooster ▶ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Frantzes to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Handi struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Santo Rosalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legendarios. Santo Rosalio was a little too slow when Zeledon Mateo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Artemio Handi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Legendarios's Andrzej Majewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Frantzes in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s Santo Rosalio got control of the ball when Teo Roldanillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Teo Roldanillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legendarios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Roldanillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Santo Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Roldanillo in the 52nd minute of play. ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s Santo Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Roldanillo in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Teo Roldanillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Santo Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Zeledon Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Mateo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Zeledon Mateo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s Santo Rosalio. Santo Rosalio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Efrain Matteo in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Legendarios's Domingo Oliverios. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Legendarios fully deserved thier win.
