Andrzej Majewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Izel in the 14th minute of play. Haedo Sur Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Delmiro Federigo scored to the left of an out of position Segundo Steven, making the score, 2-0. Basilio Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ambrosio Gau fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haedo Sur Football Club's protests and gave Ambrosio Gau a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Haedo Sur Football Club's Ambrosio Gau got a free kick in the 21st minute. Andrzej Majewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Guillen in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Haedo Sur Football Club's Godfredo Guillen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrzej Majewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Zeledon Mateo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Segundo Steven, 3-0. Segundo Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Teo Roldanillo made a precise shot to the right of Segundo Steven. Haedo Sur Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ambrosio Gau was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Haedo Sur Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Gau to maneuver through the defense. When Teo Roldanillo came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Legendarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Roldanillo couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The wind increased when Teo Roldanillo made the kick off in the second half. Zeledon Mateo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Steven. Segundo Steven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 59th minute, Haedo Sur Football Club's Esteban Izel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Segundo Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Haedo Sur Football Club defense, Zeledon Mateo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Steven. The Haedo Sur Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Steven should have stopped the shot. Segundo Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Mateo in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Roldanillo in the 69th minute of play forced Haedo Sur Football Club's goalkeeper Segundo Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Abel Oliveiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haedo Sur Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legendarios the free kick. The supporters of Legendarios booed when Haedo Sur Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Oliveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Zeledon Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Bero during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Abel Oliveiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrzej Majewski. The goal made the score 6-2. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Federigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Steven was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 90th play minutes Delmiro Federigo shot 7-2, a short shot which went by Segundo Steven and just under the crossbar into goal. Legendarios's Zeledon Mateo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basilio Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Steven having to interfere. Legendarios's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
