The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Grant Marrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Ixaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Arturo Ixaka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beltran FC's Grant Marrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grant Marrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Wei Kun in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Alfonso Dolfos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Grant Marrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beltran FC's Grant Marrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Dolfos in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beltran FC's Pänah Timah got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Ixaka in the 17th minute of play forced Beltran FC's goalkeeper Grant Marrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Arturo Ixaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Marrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Marrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Dolfos in the 24th minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, Liquid Spirit's Arturo Ixaka made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grant Marrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grant Marrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Ixaka went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Luciano Columbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arturo Ixaka fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liquid Spirit's protests and gave Arturo Ixaka a yellow card for diving instead. The Liquid Spirit fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Liquid Spirit's Alfonso Dolfos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Liquid Spirit were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Grant Marrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Ixaka in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Arturo Ixaka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Grant Marrero. The goal made the score 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Ixaka in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grant Marrero saved Beltran FC from getting behind. Wen Wei Kun hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Beltran FC's Grant Marrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Beltran FC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Wen Wei Kun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grant Marrero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Liquid Spirit were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Beltran FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tancredo Maldonado took the corner. The corner ended in Tancredo Maldonado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beltran FC's Grant Marrero did a great save. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Alfonso Dolfos sped through Beltran FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Grant Marrero. 79 minutes into the match, Wen Wei Kun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grant Marrero, 0-11. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Beltran FC's goalkeeper Grant Marrero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arturo Ixaka took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grant Marrero. Grant Marrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. The supporters of Beltran FC booed when Liquid Spirit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine De Bonis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Lleir during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Beltran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Lleir to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd match minute, Liquid Spirit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Ixaka to maneuver through the defense. Liquid Spirit's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
