The supporters of Liquid Spirit booed when Tabaquillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tancredo Maldonado struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Prospero Llin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liquid Spirit. Alfonso Dolfos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Prospero Llin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 20 minutes, Alfonso Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liquid Spirit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Dolfos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Amundarain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Bazil in the 22nd minute of the match. Arturo Ixaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Llin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Dolfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Llin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Marcelo Amundarain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Tabaquillo AFC defense, Tancredo Maldonado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Llin. The Tabaquillo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Llin should have stopped the shot. Arturo Ixaka took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Llin. Prospero Llin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. If Arturo Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Uriel Bonifaco came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Liquid Spirit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Llin having to interfere. In the 100th minute, Uriel Bonifaco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liquid Spirit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1.
