Iker Cesario hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Peyo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Rodrigo Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute Lázaro Harri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Bide to make the kick off. Cosmos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Jeronimo Neto scored to the left of an out of position Cirilo Peyo, making the score, 0-9. After some careless play in the Cosmos defense, Jeronimo Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Peyo. The Cosmos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Peyo should have stopped the shot. Godfredo Ekaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Cirilo Peyo made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Cosmos's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Bide came free, but Cirilo Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Carrisito's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Cesario came free, but Luis Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Ekaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Cirilo Peyo made a huge save. After 99 minutes, Damián Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmos and the Carrisito players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Carrisito left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cosmos.
