Marcos Bartolome didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titán F.C.. Lázaro Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marcos Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Titán F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Curupaity's zone, Gogo Lorien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Bartolome came out of the goal and Gogo Lorien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Anibal Vedillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curupaity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Titán F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Curupaity getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Anibal Vedillo hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Titán F.C.'s goalkeeper Cornelio Cordario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Ipar. Titán F.C.'s Cornelio Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Elizardo in the 34th minute of play. If Edelmiro Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curupaity's Emanuel Ipar got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Anibal Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curupaity's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Cordario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Curupaity got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Aurre. Alejo Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Bartolome having to interfere. If Emanuel Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edelmiro Elizardo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Titán F.C.'s Antonio Dantel got a free kick in the 56th minute. Camilo Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Francisco Cai kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Curupaity defense, Lázaro Illan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Bartolome. The Curupaity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Bartolome should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Alejo Baraquiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Bartolome was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 79th minute Edelmiro Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emanuel Ipar came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Curupaity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Ipar couldn't finish the play. Titán F.C. made a substitution. Felipe Acevedo replaced Severino Marin. In the 87th minute, Emanuel Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Titán F.C.'s Feliberto Javiar was substituted for Timoteo Claris. In the 88th minute, Emanuel Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Titán F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Titán F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
