In the 10th minute Efrain Evis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Cordaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Leobardo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Cordaro in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Leobardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmacio Sedeni hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Gamberro's zone, Eustacio Rameriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Ieltxu came out of the goal and Eustacio Rameriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Leobardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Evis's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Atlanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Conrao to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Txurio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Nicasio Cordaro fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Gamberro's protests and gave Nicasio Cordaro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlanta FC booed when Deportivo Gamberro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Efrain Evis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Miguel Leobardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Gamberro's Tony Manerov was substituted for Nicasio Cordaro. The Atlanta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Gamberro were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustacio Rameriz to strike the kick off in the second half. Efrain Evis in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miguel Leobardo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute, Arnulfo Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes, Eustacio Rameriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlanta FC and the Deportivo Gamberro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Rameriz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Deportivo Gamberro's Maximino Ieltxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Rameriz in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Evis in the 83rd minute of play forced Atlanta FC's goalkeeper Miguel Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Arnulfo Txurio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Efrain Evis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Leobardo, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Manerov in the 91st minute of play forced Atlanta FC's goalkeeper Miguel Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Evis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Leobardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Dalmacio Sedeni charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Sedeni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Atlanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Sedeni. If Arnulfo Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Gamberro's Venancio Sarracino got a free kick in the 99th minute. When the match was over Deportivo Gamberro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlanta FC throughout the match.
