Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Inocencio Giraldo got the match started through his kick off. Muñiz's Vinicio Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Giraldo in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Bazkoare got free with Ambrosio Marques in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Giraldo in the 7th minute of play forced Muñiz's goalkeeper Vinicio Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicanor Estebe 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Inocencio Giraldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Otsoa having to interfere. Vinicio Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Jakobe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Beti in the 23rd minute of play forced Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Ambrosio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Martinez struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Vinicio Otsoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentinos del Norte. In the 27th minute, Cesar Jakobe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Argentinos del Norte's Evelio Txomin got a free kick in the 29th minute. Inocencio Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inocencio Giraldo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Otsoa. Vinicio Otsoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 39 minutes into the game, Argentinos del Norte's Humberto Guipuzkoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Otsoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Gilabert during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Argentinos del Norte were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benicio Beti made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Erasmo Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Otsoa having to interfere. A collision led to Muñiz getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Christian Eduino hit a great ball. Nicanor Estebe made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Benicio Beti however managed to control. In the 65th minute Erasmo Onbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Muñiz's goalkeeper Vinicio Otsoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Martinez. Nicanor Estebe made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Argentinos del Norte's Godofredo Celio. Vinicio Otsoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Estebe during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Muñiz got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Estebe. Argentinos del Norte played a much better game than Muñiz and deserved their victory. The Muñiz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
