The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anestis Kakalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the game, Oscar Txartiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarandí Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chatanooga F.C. the free kick. After 11 played minutes Sarandí Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Txartiko. A collision led to Sarandí Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Agustin Perrando hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chatanooga F.C.'s Joaquin Eudoxio got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Bruno Lop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Anestis Kakalis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aquiles Cordairo. If Anestis Kakalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Generoso Isadore scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualter Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Chatanooga F.C. defense, Anestis Kakalis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Cordairo. The Chatanooga F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Cordairo should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes of play, Chatanooga F.C.'s Victorio Gaitano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 minutes, Anestis Kakalis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarandí Fútbol Club and the Chatanooga F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chatanooga F.C. booed when Sarandí Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anestis Kakalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Chatanooga F.C.'s Victorio Gaitano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualter Brasil. Gualter Brasil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. A collision led to Sarandí Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bruno Lop hit a great ball. Generoso Isadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gualter Brasil made a huge save. After 46 played minutes Sarandí Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Cordarell. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Gualter Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Gaitano in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Chatanooga F.C. got a corner. Sarandí Fútbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Nevada ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Chatanooga F.C.'s corner Alfredo Nevada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gualter Brasil quite easily take care of the ball. After 57 played minutes Sarandí Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Urti. Chatanooga F.C.'s Victorio Gaitano got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Aurelio Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Sarandí Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Lop. Gualter Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Gaitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chatanooga F.C. booed when Sarandí Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Urti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chatanooga F.C.'s Aquiles Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Txartiko in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chatanooga F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Lop was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarandí Fútbol Club's players had a chance to rest. In the 79th minute, Victorio Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Mazuste hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Sarandí Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chatanooga F.C.'s Horacio Donio got a free kick in the 95th minute. Chatanooga F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
