Luisito Oidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovando Castan's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Deportivo Claro defense, Ovando Castan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Oidor. The Deportivo Claro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Oidor should have stopped the shot. Ovando Castan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Los Diablos Piquenses fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Los Diablos Piquenses's Ovando Castan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luisito Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovando Castan in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Claro's zone, Domingos Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Oidor came out of the goal and Domingos Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Gitano's late challenge caught a Los Diablos Piquenses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Gitano helped the player get up and apologised. Baldomero Gitano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Ovando Castan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Diablos Piquenses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 20th match minute, Deportivo Claro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gitano to maneuver through the defense. When Los Diablos Piquenses's Ovando Castan in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Diablos Piquenses's goalie prevented a goal. During the 31st minute of the match Baldomero Gitano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baldomero Gitano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 32nd match minute, Deportivo Claro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gitano to maneuver through the defense. Matúš Tomeček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Oidor having to interfere. After 36 played minutes, Los Diablos Piquenses's Baltasar Cheche shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luisito Oidor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Diablos Piquenses reached it. After some careless play in the Deportivo Claro defense, Ovando Castan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Oidor. The Deportivo Claro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Oidor should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Francho to make the kick off. After 51st play minutes Ovando Castan shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Luisito Oidor and just under the crossbar into goal. Ovando Castan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luisito Oidor came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovando Castan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Domingos Leguizamón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Oidor. Deportivo Claro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Leguizamón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Piquenses's Domingos Leguizamón got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Ovando Castan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Claro's Luisito Oidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Claro from getting a goal against them. If Ovando Castan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovando Castan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-13 to the left of a surprised Luisito Oidor 81 minutes into the match. When Los Diablos Piquenses's Ovando Castan in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Deportivo Claro booed when Los Diablos Piquenses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Leguizamón didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Ovando Castan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Diablos Piquenses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovando Castan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Deportivo Claro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Diablos Piquenses were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
