When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ovando Castan sped through loa turris's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Gartzen. 27 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Camargo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Quinteros. Los Diablos Piquenses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Camargo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Astor Gartzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matúš Tomeček went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Matúš Tomeček hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keanu Orive blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Quinteros having to make a save. Severiano Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keanu Orive, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in loa turris's zone, Ovando Castan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Gartzen came out of the goal and Ovando Castan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keanu Orive stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Arnaldo Camargo from a close distance when the talented Severiano Quinteros managed to make a qualified save. Los Diablos Piquenses's players were relieved. loa turris's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justo Sugoi in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Justo Sugoi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severiano Quinteros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute Arnaldo Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnaldo Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keanu Orive sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, Keanu Orive ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Quinteros was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Astor Gartzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovando Castan's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The Los Diablos Piquenses fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Los Diablos Piquenses's Ovando Castan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute, Ildefonso Birila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Diablos Piquenses's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arnaldo Camargo 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keanu Orive got free with Severiano Quinteros in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Roch Lesiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
