In the 26th minute Mario Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niproback's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damaso Goi in the 27th minute. Nereo Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Natalio Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as RocaFC's Nereo Ostargi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nereo Teyo. That made the score 0-4 after 75 minutes of play. 0-5 became the score in the 79th minute when Natalio Gumaro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 81st minute Natalio Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Teyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Lixandro in the 82nd minute of the match. Mario Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Ponciano having to interfere. RocaFC played a much better game than Niproback and deserved their victory. The Niproback players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
