In the 23rd minute Octavio Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mercedes AFC defense, Nicolas Iraitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Naldo. The Mercedes AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Naldo should have stopped the shot. Celso Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Sengrat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Sengrat in the 38th minute of the match. If Cayetano Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Benvido charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Benvido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Mercedes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Benvido.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Ledesma to strike the kick off in the second half. Americo Bartolome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Naldo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Americo Bartolome sent off a good shot on target. Celso Naldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucio Sengrat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. In the 60th minute Lucio Sengrat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Atlantico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. Celso Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Iraitz in the 64th minute of the match. When Daniel Ishmael came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Atlantico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Ishmael couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ishmael came free, but Celso Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Sengrat in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Mercedes AFC's Celso Naldo got control of the ball when Lucio Sengrat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mercedes AFC's Celso Naldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Iraitz in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Naldo saved Mercedes AFC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Iraitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celso Naldo. That made the score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Atlantico FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mercedes AFC.
