After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Titan Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandungueo's supporters rose to their feet, but Titan Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Bazkoare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luigi Doublet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Bazkoare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Titan Palermo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Honorio Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sandungueo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Titan Palermo hit a great ball. The supporters of Sandungueo booed when Chacarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Banegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Titan Palermo took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Bazkoare. The wind increased when Aaron Chago made the kick off in the second half. Jose Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titan Palermo in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Titan Palermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Bazkoare was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Titan Palermo got free with Jose Bazkoare in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Bazkoare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Poz's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Sandungueo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chacarita throughout the match.
