Jose Bazkoare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Bazkoare came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Colibrí FC's Atilano Dimo. But to his dismay, Atilano Dimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Froilan Lando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jose Bazkoare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jose Bazkoare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Lando, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jose Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Dimo in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Chacarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Florin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Baleren got free with Jose Bazkoare in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
