In the 88th minute of the match Matias Abechuco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Esquipula skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Guillermo Ortle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel Emenon. That made the score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. If Ladislao Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded C.A. Chacarita Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bergero FC.
