The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Lanus's Francisco Llorenc threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Leheren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amado Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Francisco Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Leheren in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors MDP's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Loco came free, but Francisco Llorenc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Llorenc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Edwardo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Alvaro Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors MDP's protests and gave Alvaro Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Boca Juniors MDP getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alvaro Gerazan hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Boca Juniors MDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Gerazan to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Rodolfo Leheren made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Llorenc. Boca Juniors MDP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 24 played minutes Boca Juniors MDP got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Aurken. In the 27th minute, Boca Juniors MDP's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cipriano Edwardo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute of the match, Rodolfo Leheren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francisco Llorenc was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Leheren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Llorenc, 3-0. Francisco Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Leheren in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Lanus booed when Boca Juniors MDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors MDP's Alvaro Gerazan got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lanus's Javier Loco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boca Juniors MDP. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Leheren in the 43rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors MDP's goalkeeper Francisco Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Llorenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Albino Mendiko made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Llorenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Edwardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Francisco Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Leheren in the 54th minute of play. Remigio Mouricio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Francisco Llorenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Edwardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Leheren in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Llorenc saved Boca Juniors MDP from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Boca Juniors MDP got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Quinton. Ángel Labruna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boca Juniors MDP's Albino Mendiko got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Cipriano Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lanus booed when Boca Juniors MDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Chuan having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Rodolfo Leheren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Leheren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ambrosio Bladi fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors MDP's protests and gave Ambrosio Bladi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Ambrosio Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lanus booed when Boca Juniors MDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Edwardo in the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lanus fully deserved thier win.
