The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Laurentzi got free with Cesar Malvin in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Leonardo Sazon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cesar Malvin to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Santos in the 10th minute of play forced Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Adolfo Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Ourente hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cesar Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cesar Malvin made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Candido Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin got control of the ball when Leonardo Sazon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Malvin was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Candido Laurentzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Candido Laurentzi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Legion Roja FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Leonardo Sazon scored to the left of an out of position Cesar Malvin, making the score, 3-0. Cesar Malvin made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Candido Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes Legion Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Santos. Tobias Karmel might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Nabar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Karmel ran back to his position shaking his head. Tobias Karmel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Nabar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Legion Roja FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrado Eliu was slow to take the kick. During this time Almirante Brown's players had a chance to rest. Conrado Eliu made a great header on Almirante Brown's corner, it was just that Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Sazon got free with Cesar Malvin in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Laurentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cesar Malvin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Legion Roja FC's Victoriano Telesforo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Cesar Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Suarez in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Legion Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Laurentzi came free, but Cesar Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Telesforo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Conrado Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Malvin came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Almirante Brown's Candido Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Candido Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Laurentzi in the 72nd minute of play forced Legion Roja FC's goalkeeper Cesar Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Legion Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Suarez came free, but Cesar Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Legion Roja FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrado Eliu was slow to take the kick. During this time Almirante Brown's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice moves Florentino Santos could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Adolfo Nabar however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Legion Roja FC's zone, Israel Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Malvin came out of the goal and Israel Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Israel Suarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almirante Brown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Almirante Brown players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
