Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodolfo Leheren started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rodolfo Leheren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanus's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Leheren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Cipriano Edwardo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cesar Malvin to make any attempt to save it. Rodolfo Leheren did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Cesar Malvin 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Tobias Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legion Roja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Karmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Cesar Malvin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Genaro Garaona kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Lanus getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Arsenio Etxatxu hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Arsenio Etxatxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legion Roja FC the free kick. In the 45th minute, one of Lanus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lanus. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Legion Roja FC's Carolo Leguizamón got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes in the game Ricardo Roland did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amado Matro. Rodolfo Leheren took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Malvin. Cesar Malvin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cesar Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Edwardo in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Leheren in the 68th minute of play forced Legion Roja FC's goalkeeper Cesar Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Malvin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Leheren went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Lanus's Ángel Labruna was substituted for Teobaldo Santiago. A collision led to Legion Roja FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Saul Hartz hit a great ball. Cesar Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Edwardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Malvin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Leheren in the 87th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Rodolfo Leheren made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Lanus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
