After a rather tough play, Nuevo Puelo's Gaston Mogel got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ernesto Salomone came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Bilardistas del Bidón's Braulio Turi. But to his dismay, Braulio Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Severino Lander charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Lander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the match, Nuevo Puelo's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Mendez came free, but Ernesto Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Prospero Derwin fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nuevo Puelo's protests and gave Prospero Derwin a yellow card for diving instead. Bilardistas del Bidón's Ainārs Pelnis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Montxo in the 34th minute of play. Ernesto Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Isadore in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Montxo to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Bilardistas del Bidón got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Steven. 54 minutes into the match, Nuevo Puelo's Placido Bizen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Jimeno Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Isadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ernesto Salomone made a huge save. Nuevo Puelo's Ernesto Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Turi in the 69th minute of play. Placido Bizen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Leon Isadore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nuevo Puelo's Ernesto Salomone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Turi in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Salomone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Leon Isadore came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bilardistas del Bidón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Isadore couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Salomone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
