Jeremias Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Los Tigres de Funes's Ivan Lorenz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquilino Ciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the San Marco FC defense, Ivan Lorenz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Ciano. The San Marco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Ciano should have stopped the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, Anastasio Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Marco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Abalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Los Tigres de Funes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Boni to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Los Tigres de Funes's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Abalos came free, but Geronimo Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Montez went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Ivan Lorenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Montez in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Ciano saved San Marco FC from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, one of San Marco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Montez to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, San Marco FC's Leonardo Nastasio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Ivan Lorenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Ciano having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Iker Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Montez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Aquilino Ciano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 68 minutes, Jeremias Montez made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. San Marco FC's Aquilino Ciano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Montez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Aquilino Ciano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Leonardo Nastasio fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Marco FC's protests and gave Leonardo Nastasio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to San Marco FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leonardo Nastasio hit a great ball. If Ivan Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Abalos in the 77th minute of the match. Los Tigres de Funes's Jeremias Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maximino Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 84 in the game by Jeremias Montez from a close distance when the talented Aquilino Ciano managed to make a qualified save. San Marco FC's players were relieved. 86 minutes into the game, Jeremias Montez lined in a short shot 1-7 behind a frustrated Aquilino Ciano. After having played for 95 minutes, Roque Tulio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Marco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Tulio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The San Marco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Tigres de Funes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
