The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremias Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Mundo having to interfere. Edgard Mundo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Jeremias Montez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, CUBANO's Gaspar Crispo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Joaquin Abeita hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Esteve Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CUBANO's Edgard Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Bilbo in the 14th minute of play. Esteve Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Mundo having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Jeremias Montez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgard Mundo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jeremias Montez sped through CUBANO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgard Mundo. Geronimo Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Crispo in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Tigres de Funes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Estebano was slow to take the kick. During this time CUBANO's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gonzalo Estebano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Tigres de Funes's Geronimo Su did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Esteve Bilbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Tigres de Funes's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Bilbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Mundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Arturo Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Edgard Mundo made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Rogelio Furman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Montez in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Mundo saved CUBANO from getting behind. After 33 minutes, Emiliano Daunte made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Tigres de Funes's Geronimo Su tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Geronimo Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Daunte in the 36th minute of the match. Gaspar Crispo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, CUBANO's goalkeeper Edgard Mundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Montez. Emiliano Daunte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Su read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Rogelio Furman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Su was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Montez made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Daunte got free with Geronimo Su in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Jeremias Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Los Tigres de Funes's goalkeeper Geronimo Su had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Daunte. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Montez in the 63rd minute of play forced CUBANO's goalkeeper Edgard Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, CUBANO's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Montez came free, but Edgard Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, CUBANO's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lorenz came free, but Edgard Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Los Tigres de Funes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Abeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Esteve Bilbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Emiliano Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUBANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Daunte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Su breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geronimo Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Crispo in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Los Tigres de Funes players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
