Artemio Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Tigres de Funes's Jeremias Montez. But to his dismay, Jeremias Montez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Candido Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, inter's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geronimo Su fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Los Tigres de Funes booed when inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Geronimo Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Jeremias Montez in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Artemio Lekubegi had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 29th minute, Candido Oriche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Lorenz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Artemio Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Montez in the 34th minute of play. inter's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Geronimo Su 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. inter made a substitution. Esteve Telmo replaced Candido Oriche. inter's Artemio Lekubegi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save inter from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Los Tigres de Funes getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nicasio Jaunzuria hit a great ball. When Ciriaco Bernard came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the inter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Bernard couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Montez in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artemio Lekubegi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artemio Lekubegi made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jeremias Montez sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isaias Ezkerra made the kick off in the second half. If Jeremias Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esteve Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artemio Lekubegi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Montez's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Luisito Barto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. inter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Tigres de Funes the free kick. Geronimo Su kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Ciriaco Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. inter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Bernard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Humberto Galoer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Lekubegi was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 75thth minute of the game Jeremias Montez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but inter's Artemio Lekubegi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Los Tigres de Funes booed when inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Telmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ivan Lorenz made a huge save. Artemio Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Bilbo in the 91st minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Esteve Bilbo notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of inter's Artemio Lekubegi. Artemio Lekubegi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Tigres de Funes fully deserved thier win.
