The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Lino Constancio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascual Quintun. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Ponciano in the 10th minute of play forced Pillahuincó AFC's goalkeeper Pascual Quintun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Pillahuincó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Ponciano came free, but Pascual Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Pillahuincó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Curcio to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Severino Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Scylla A.F.C got a corner. Pillahuincó AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Peli ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 26th match minute, Scylla A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Constancio to maneuver through the defense. Pillahuincó AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Jacinto Ponciano scored to the left of an out of position Pascual Quintun, making the score, 2-0. Ruben Bemabe took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Quintun. Pascual Quintun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Ponciano made a kick off. When Scylla A.F.C's Jacinto Ponciano in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pillahuincó AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Pascual Quintun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Ponciano in the 53rd minute of the match. Jacinto Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pascual Quintun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jacinto Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scylla A.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Quintun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Bemabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Quintun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Ponciano's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Jacinto Ponciano came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Scylla A.F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Ponciano couldn't finish the play. Pascual Quintun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pillahuincó AFC's Pascual Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Ponciano in the 70th minute of play. Jacinto Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Quintun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Ponciano in the 73rd minute of the match. Ruben Bemabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Quintun having to interfere. Jacinto Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Pascual Quintun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scylla A.F.C. Efrain Bide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Dunixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Bemabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Danilo Chepe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pillahuincó AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scylla A.F.C the free kick. 92 minutes into the match, Jacinto Ponciano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pillahuincó AFC's Pascual Quintun. Pascual Quintun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Scylla A.F.C fully deserved thier win.
