Academia RC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Swiftie FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Academia RC's Paolo Aresti got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kjell-Arne Ivarsson took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislao Feliu. Ladislao Feliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leonel Izel struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Joel Macario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia RC. Team Swiftie FC's Edelmiro Gau managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomás Liher in the 22 minute of the game. Academia RC's Teobaldo Cresitobalo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Academia RC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Sendoa came free, but Ladislao Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Cresitobalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Joel Macario made a huge save. After 31 played minutes Team Swiftie FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Jaunzuria. A collision led to Academia RC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Isaac Roderigo hit a great ball. Ladislao Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Ivarsson in the 34th minute of the match. When Kjell-Arne Ivarsson came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Team Swiftie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell-Arne Ivarsson couldn't finish the play. Ladislao Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Sendoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltasar Sendoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Nicolas Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Swiftie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Bembe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Feliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Cresitobalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell-Arne Ivarsson in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Feliu saved Academia RC from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Tomás Liher in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Team Swiftie FC's Maximo Jaunzuria. Team Swiftie FC's Joel Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Roderigo in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Academia RC's Ladislao Feliu got control of the ball when Baltasar Sendoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Bembe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ladislao Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Macario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Maule, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cipriano Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Cresitobalo in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Team Swiftie FC defense, Isaac Roderigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Macario. The Team Swiftie FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Macario should have stopped the shot. Academia RC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teobaldo Cresitobalo in the 95th minute. Teobaldo Cresitobalo made a great header on Academia RC's corner, it was just that Team Swiftie FC's Joel Macario managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Izel in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Macario saved Team Swiftie FC from getting behind. Team Swiftie FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
