The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Alberto Iyan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the river FC and the Swizzle X players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Iyan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. river FC's Ionel Cândea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Claus in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Gaudencio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Inko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Amado Pere fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored river FC's protests and gave Amado Pere a yellow card for diving instead. Swizzle X's Higinio Inko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Swizzle X from getting a goal against them. Ionel Cândea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Candido Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, river FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Abastas came free, but Ionel Cândea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Domeka in the 30th minute of play forced river FC's goalkeeper Ionel Cândea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, river FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Katia to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Swizzle X's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Perez came free, but Higinio Inko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Inko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Henry in the 39th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Perez made a kick off. Higinio Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 played minutes Swizzle X got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Abastas. The supporters of river FC booed when Swizzle X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When David Vistruario came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the river FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Vistruario couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Gaudencio Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Inko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 63rd minute Nestor Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Inko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Inko came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by river FC's Nestor Hanot. But to his dismay, Nestor Hanot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 70th minute Gaudencio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Inko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Amado Pere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Higinio Inko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of river FC booed when Swizzle X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orland Somorrostro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Swizzle X's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Pere came free, but Higinio Inko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Inko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Perez went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Swizzle X's Higinio Inko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Henry in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nestor Hanot managed to get in a good position for a shot. river FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Hanot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Inko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fernan Henry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Inko was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Swizzle X's Jonatan Abastas got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the Swizzle X defense, Nestor Hanot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Inko. The Swizzle X fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Inko should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that river FC were the better team. river FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
