The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Morteros booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donatello Armada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isauro Sota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isauro Sota in the 11th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Donatello Armada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.J. McCollum took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donatello Armada. Donatello Armada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. C.J. McCollum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Donatello Armada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.J. McCollum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donatello Armada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Vikingos FC's Donatello Armada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isauro Sota in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Americo Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isauro Sota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donatello Armada having to make a save. Donatello Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isauro Sota in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Isauro Sota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morteros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Donatello Armada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from C.J. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Procopio made a kick off. If Isauro Sota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isauro Sota did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Donatello Armada 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Americo Doro got a free kick in the 60th minute. Donatello Armada made an important save on a dangerous shot by C.J. McCollum in the 61st minute. Donatello Armada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isauro Sota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Morteros got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Frichoso. Vikingos FC's Donatello Armada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the game, Ulises Oxarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vikingos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morteros the free kick. In the 69th minute, C.J. McCollum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morteros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 79thth minute of the game Isauro Sota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Donatello Armada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Doro during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Americo Doro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Morteros's Isauro Sota in the 81st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Donatello Armada was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vikingos FC through an amazing save. With a little luck, Vikingos FC's Donatello Armada got control of the ball when C.J. McCollum tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donatello Armada made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Isauro Sota sent off a good shot on target. Hector Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
