Hermengildo Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Iguarán FC's Guaberto Paez made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Chacabuco Animals Return fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Cesario should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Chacabuco Animals Return's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Paez came free, but Florentino Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Cesario was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Gonzalo Cordaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvestre Shepherd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florentino Cesario. That made the score 0-14 in the 86 minute of play. After 95 played minutes Hugo Checa rounded Chacabuco Animals Return's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-16. When the match was over Iguarán FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chacabuco Animals Return throughout the match.
