Wilfredo Paublo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Savaşer Altuncuoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraná AFC. Frode Lillejord hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, Los Chirimbolos's Amado Baudelio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Lain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Primitivo Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Freddy Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Freddy Lain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Lenzi in the 26th minute of play. Frode Lillejord made a great header on Los Chirimbolos's corner, it was just that Paraná AFC's Freddy Lain managed to reach the ball for a save. Lucio Flor's late challenge caught a Los Chirimbolos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Flor helped the player get up and apologised. Lucio Flor hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Freddy Lain came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Chirimbolos's Cristoforo Lenzi. But to his dismay, Cristoforo Lenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Freddy Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Baudelio in the 32nd minute of the match. If Aquiles Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Sebastian Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Savaşer Altuncuoğlu. Los Chirimbolos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Freddy Lain came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Los Chirimbolos's Cristoforo Lenzi. But to his dismay, Cristoforo Lenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Freddy Lain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Baudelio in the 45th minute of play. Freddy Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Baudelio in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Paraná AFC's Freddy Lain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Paraná AFC from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Los Chirimbolos's Cristoforo Lenzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Lain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Freddy Lain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Baudelio in the 61st minute. Gualterio Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 84 minutes in the game, Gualterio Leobardo got a free kick from a good position and fired away a shot. The shot didn't have enough spin and went out of bounds to the left of the goal. The supporters of Paraná AFC booed when Los Chirimbolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frode Lillejord didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Gorka kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Los Chirimbolos played a much better game than Paraná AFC and deserved their victory. The Paraná AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
