The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Mogel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blas George. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Tama's Felipe Mino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 10 minutes into the game, Tama's Felipe Mino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blas George made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Felipe Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Mino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Blas George stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Mino's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Felipe Mino in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Blas George, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute, Igor Orlandus made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Medardo. Tama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Dionisio Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Bartolo Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mateo Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Honorato Gorka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Lanus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tama the free kick. Honorato Gorka kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Felipe Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Mino might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas George. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Mino ran back to his position shaking his head. Tama's Ernesto Lleir got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartolo Abarca to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Tato Vitali came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tato Vitali couldn't finish the play. Felipe Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas George having to interfere. Tama's Diego Bazil was substituted for Ovidio Fonda. Tama's Simon Ferran was substituted for Felipe Mino. Simon Ferran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas George having to make a save. In the 73rd match minute, Tama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Mogel to maneuver through the defense. Blas George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Ferran, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Simon Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Simon Ferran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blas George. Club Atlético Lanus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Ferran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Club Atlético Lanus's Honorato Gorka got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Honorato Gorka off the ground. Ernesto Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Blas George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mateo Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Santiago in the 93rd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Marco Santiago notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Club Atlético Lanus's Blas George. Blas George was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Ferran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tama walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
