When Fabricio Gonchan came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Munro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Gonchan couldn't finish the play. If Eloy Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Club Atlético Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Gorka. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Lanus's goalkeeper Blas George, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Munro FC's Eloy Deunoro in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Atlético Lanus's Blas George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Gonchan in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Lanus's goalkeeper Blas George, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Abarca made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Naelio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas George saved Club Atlético Lanus from getting behind. After having played for 58 minutes, Fabricio Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Gonchan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes in the game, Jeronimo Naelio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Blas George having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Naelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas George was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Munro FC's Ariel Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Abarca in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Munro FC's Jeronimo Naelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas George narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ariel Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Andres Marcones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Lanus the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Andres Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
