Diablos Rojos FC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after THE KELLOGGS CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Elodio took the corner. In the 8th match minute, THE KELLOGGS CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Chano to maneuver through the defense. After 11 minutes THE KELLOGGS CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leo Elodio who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of THE KELLOGGS CLUB's goalie and right to Nemesio Maiorga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. THE KELLOGGS CLUB's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in THE KELLOGGS CLUB's zone, Alfonso Satordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Zaremba came out of the goal and Alfonso Satordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, THE KELLOGGS CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Schivy came free, but Damian Zaremba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Alfonso Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE KELLOGGS CLUB's Damian Zaremba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Diablos Rojos FC's Leo Elodio to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Zaremba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, THE KELLOGGS CLUB's Damian Zaremba got control of the ball when Alfonso Satordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Satordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Damian Zaremba made a huge save. Alfonso Satordi might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Zaremba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Satordi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Menendo got free with Damian Zaremba in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute of the match Diablos Rojos FC got a corner. THE KELLOGGS CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Elodio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Diablos Rojos FC's corner Leo Elodio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damian Zaremba quite easily take care of the ball. If Alfonso Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Satordi to make the kick off. THE KELLOGGS CLUB's Damian Zaremba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Satordi in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Diablos Rojos FC got a corner. THE KELLOGGS CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The supporters of Diablos Rojos FC booed when THE KELLOGGS CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Zaremba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Satordi in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Alfonso Satordi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Alfonso Satordi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Zaremba was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The Diablos Rojos FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Diablos Rojos FC's Alfonso Satordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 90 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos FC's Alfonso Satordi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Zaremba narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
