After taking down the ball on la12's corner Damaso Bautista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damian Sendoa quite easily take care of the ball. Elvio Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sendoa having to interfere. When Santo Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the la12 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Guerrero couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Santo Guerrero in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Damian Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Guaberto Orlondon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Sendoa having to make a save. The DRJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Sendoa should have stopped the shot. If Guaberto Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Medina to make the kick off. Julian Bernal kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, la12's Moises Blai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Sendoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in la12 reached it. After 56 minutes, Elvio Medina made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. DRJ's Damian Sendoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Filiberto Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. la12's Ceferino Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Lluc in the 63rd minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Isidro Abadie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ceferino Gartzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Damaso Bautista made a great header on la12's corner, it was just that DRJ's Damian Sendoa managed to reach the ball for a save. la12's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
