After a rather tough play, Defensores de Canito's Florencio Lando got a free kick in the 50th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Canito's zone, Jaime Cibran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Feliu came out of the goal and Jaime Cibran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Brandsen defense, Patryk Literski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Sellekaerts. The Brandsen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Sellekaerts should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Brandsen's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Morata came free, but Jon Sellekaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandsen were furious when German Iyan was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 91st minute, one of Brandsen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brandsen. In the 96th minute Rigoberto Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Sellekaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brandsen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Defensores de Canito.
