An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Oroitz in the 17th minute of play forced Sporting Cadáver's goalkeeper Gabriel Bembe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Escobar charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Escobar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maimará booed when Sporting Cadáver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Cadáver's zone, Jonas Ermengol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Oroitz took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Bembe. Gabriel Bembe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Justo Kelemen scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Bembe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maimará's Jonas Ermengol got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Justo Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Romelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jonas Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maimará's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Ermengol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Oroitz in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Bembe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tiburcio Oroitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Gabriel Bembe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Oroitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Bembe was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Maimará's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
